Rocio Nunez Pepen, BA

Project Manager
Rocio Nunez Pepen, BA, is the TEAM UP Scaling and Sustainability Center's Project Manager for The Carmel Hill Fund project. She received her bachelor's in human development from Brown University and is a candidate for MD at Harvard Medical School. Prior to joining TEAM UP, Rocio worked as a research project coordinator under a Diversity Supplement grant from the NIH at Boston Medical Center (BMC) where she focused on child behavioral and mental health service need and the community health worker role. During her time at BMC, she led her own independent project exploring the role of culture and stigma in parent's willingness to access services for their child. She is passionate about preventative primary care and early childhood development with hopes to practice as a developmental pediatrician. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her two active toddlers, reading books, taking long walks around the Boston area and learning to cook traditional Dominican food from her grandmother.
