Day 1: March 14, 2025, 9:30am – 4:30pmÂ
Day 1 will be a combination of didactic material and experiential activities. Topics include:Â
- The behavioral health integration movementÂ
- Quality improvement (practice transformation and evaluation) in the provision of clinical careÂ
- Why transdiagnostic approaches?Â
- Decolonizing mental health careÂ
- The evidence behind and application of psychoeducation, motivational interviewing, problem solving skills, and cognitive restructuringÂ
Day 2: Mar. 21st, 2025, 9:30am-4:30pm Â
Day 2 will be a similar combination of didactic and interactive, using a variety of media. Topics include:Â
- The evidence behind and application of emotional regulation, therapeutic exposure, behavioral activation, interpersonal and communication skills, assessments and screening, and caregiver and family supportÂ
- Using Management and Adaptive Practices (MAP) in clinical practice
Day 3: Mar. 28th, 2025, 9:30am-4:30pmÂ
Day 3 is geared towards BHCs and CHWs collaborating to focus on foundations in early childhood care with an emphasis on the team-approach. Topics include:Â
- Engagement strategies for client-centered careÂ
- Developmental stages: Ages 0-5Â
- BRANCH as an intervention toolÂ
- Case study and applicationÂ
